- It is an icon image file used to show application icons in the macOS Finder and macOS dock. It contains one or several .PNG images and it supports 1bit and 8-bit alpha channels.
- An image saved by Corel PHOTO-PAINT 7 or later (the file starts with CPT7FILE, CPT9FILE ...). It shares the .cpt extension with the older Corel PhotoPaint 6 format, and no converter here reads it yet.
