Description
An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
It is a JPEG file extension used by Sony digital cameras to save lower resolution images for sending on email. It is saved side by side with the high-quality JPG file.
