Eltac Embroidery Format (EXY) ist ein proprietäres Stickdateiformat, das von Eltac Embroidery Machines entwickelt wurde. Es speichert Motive für Stickmaschinen und enthält Informationen wie die Anordnung des Musters, Stickanweisungen, Garnfarben und weitere Gestaltungselemente.
Eine GCODE-Datei enthält Befehle in G-Code, einer Sprache, die beschreibt, wie ein 3D-Drucker einen Druckauftrag ausführen soll. Sie speichert Anweisungen als Klartext, wobei jede Zeile einen eigenen Befehl darstellt. Diese legen beispielsweise fest, wie schnell der Drucker drucken soll, welche Temperatur eingestellt werden soll und wohin sich die Druckerkomponenten bewegen sollen.
