- THP is a video file format developed by Nintendo for use in GameCube and Wii games. It stores compressed video and audio data optimized for streaming from optical discs on Nintendo's consoles. The format is commonly used for cutscenes, intros, and other full-motion video sequences in first-party and licensed titles.
- Generic Windows or OS/2 bitmap graphic; similar to a .BMP file, but has different header information; supports 1, 4, 8, and 24 bits per pixel if the image is uncompressed and 4 and 8 bits per pixel if the image uses RLE compression; a 24-bit DIB image contains 8 bits, or 1 byte for each RGB color.
