- SFD (Spline Font Database) is the native, text-based source format of the FontForge font editor. It stores a font's glyph outlines, metrics, kerning, OpenType tables and editing state, so a font can be reopened and edited losslessly and then exported to TrueType, OpenType, WOFF or Type 1.
- O formato JFIF (JPEG File Interchange Format) permite transferir arquivos JPEG comprimidos entre computadores. Esse formato de arquivo gráfico usa um marcador para indicar vários parâmetros que não aparecem no arquivo JPEG padrão — por exemplo, tamanho e geometria dos pixels, entre outros.
