The VP3 file type is a vector-based embroidery file format developed by Husqvarna Viking/Pfaff, used to store embroidery designs for use with computerized embroidery machines. It is a proprietary format that can store a wide range of stitches, as well as images and text.
FTS file format is used to edit, store and transmit images with metadata (data with spatial and photometric calibrations) for scientific purposes. Most times it stores the data without the actual associated images.
