  1. Download and install the latest version of Filestar.

  2. Right click on one or more Pam file(s) on your desktop and select Convert with Filestar.

  3. Type convert to fts in the search box.

  4. Press Convert.

Description
The PAM image format is a lowest common denominator 2 dimensional map format. It is designed to be used for any of myriad kinds of graphics, but can theoretically be used for any kind of data that is arranged as a two dimensional rectangular array.
FTS file format is used to edit, store and transmit images with metadata (data with spatial and photometric calibrations) for scientific purposes. Most times it stores the data without the actual associated images.
