Description
An OPUS file is an audio file created in the Opus format (also called "Ogg Opus"), a lossy audio format developed for Internet streaming. It uses both SILK (used by Skype) and CELT (from Xiph.Org) codecs and supports variable bit rates from 6 kb/s to 510 kb/s.
Video file encoded with the MPEG-2 codec, which is mainly used for over-the-air, satellite, and cable digital TV signals and DVD video; uses lossy compression for audio and video to significantly reduce the size of the video data; not as efficient as the H.264 format.
