- An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
- Format for representing colors in the three primary colors (red, green and blue), each of which has 255 gradations. In contrast to the standard RGB, it allows you to change the transparency of the entire image using the opacity parameter.
