An EXP file is an embroidery CAM (computer aided manufacturing) file saved in the Melco EXP format. It contains codes that tell the needle of a commercial sewing machine how to create an embroidery. EXP files may also be saved in the Bernina USB EXP format, which is used for embroideries made by personal sewing machines.
CIP is a proprietary image format developed by Cisco Systems for its IP phones. It is used to store images, backgrounds, icons, and logos, and is optimized for use on Cisco IP phones. It is not compatible with other image formats.
