- Description
- Better Portable Graphics (BPG) image format created to replace the JPEG format; provides the same quality as JPEG images but in a smaller file size; supports lossless compression; natively supports 8 to 14 bits per channel.
- FTS file format is used to edit, store and transmit images with metadata (data with spatial and photometric calibrations) for scientific purposes. Most times it stores the data without the actual associated images.
